Lent is a time of renewal and conversion. During these forty days we discover where we need to change. We look to Jesus for direction. His goodness is a mirror for our lives. Like Jesus, we are invited to go into the desert away from all those things that distract us, and examine the way we live and see if there is a need for change. Our willingness to experience a change of heart will allow the love of Jesus to be more evident in us. On Easter morning we will truly be resurrection people.

Sacrament of Baptism
The Sacrament of Baptism is the fist step in a lifelong journey of commitment and discipleship. Whether we are baptized as infants or adults, Baptism is the Church's way of celebrating and enacting the embrace of God.
Baptism takes place following the 10 AM Mass on scheduled Sundays. Parents must be registered / active parishioners for three months prior to Baptism. Diocesan guidelines require that parents attend a preparation session prior to the Sacrament. Baptism Registration form and Baptism Guidelines are available or you can call (413) 446-1240 to speak with Mrs. Stankiewicz.
Confirmation is a Catholic Sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a deepening of baptismal gifts. It is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation for Catholics. It is most often associated with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Additional information can be found on our Home page under "Office of Faith Formation".

The Sacrament of Marriage, or Holy Matrimony, is a public sign that one gives oneself totally to this other person. It is also a public statement about God: the loving union of husband and wife speaks of family values and also God's values.
