  • 20/20 Club - New club starting soon!  If you wish to join or help, call Henry Trudell.

  • Baby Furniture - Cribs Needed - Baby furniture, especially cribs, are needed.  Pregnancy Support Services asks help!  Call (413) 684-7351 to respond to this crisis.

  • Baptism Preparation - Diocesan guidelines require parents and godparents to attend a course and have an interview with the Pastor in preparation for baptism.  It is highly recommended that expectant parents attend the class before the baby arrives to avoid delays in babysitting problems.  Call Lisa Stankiewicz (413) 684-1803 to pre-register for the next class.

  • Bereavement Support - Those who are grieving the loss of a loved one are welcome to join this support group on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7 P.M. at the Sacred Heart Rectory, 191 Elm Street, Pittsfield, MA.

  • Berkshire Talking Chronicle - Anyone reading-impaired can listen to the Berkshire Eagle and other local and national newspapers daily on the radio via the Berkshire Talking Chronicle.  To request a receiver or to volunteer, please call 684-0880.

  • Children's Bulletins - Children's Bulletins are available at all Church entrances.  They are intended to help explain and reinforce the weekly Gospel message.  Full of fun activities, stories and important messages for children that help them live the message of Jesus Christ.

  • Diocesan Misconduct Hotline - (800) 842-9055

  • Extended Day Care - Day care is available from 7:10 to 7:50 AM and 2:30 to 5:30 PM each day school is in session.  Contact the office to obtain a registration form.  (413) 684-3143.

  • Food Pantry - Open Thursdays, 5:30 to 6:00 PM.  If you have any questions please call Dave or RoAnn Wendling at (413) 684-5294.

  • Gift Bearers - Anyone wishing to bring the gifts up should take the fish symbol back to their pew before Mass and return it when you pick up the gifts.  If the symbol is still with the gifts when Mass begins, then a family near the gifts is asked to bring up the gifts.  We encourage those who have been actively involved to continue and encourage others to participate also.

  • Holy Cross Campgrounds Family and Group Camping and Retreat Facility - Camp Holy Cross-is available for group and family camping.  Our facility has a year round lodge, cottage, 16 cabins, restrooms, hot water showers, gymnasium, lake for swimming and fishing, canoes, paddleboats, hiking trails and cooking pits.  Weekday and weekend rentals are available during the summer months for both groups and families.  Ideal for camping, retreats, reunions and getaways.  Our facility also hosts summer camps for children and young adults.  Available online at www.campholycross.org or by calling 413-684-0125 for more information.

  • Mass Times While Traveling - Parishioners who are traveling may call (410) 676-6000 for location and schedule of Masses in Catholic Churches throughout the USA or www.masstimes.org.

  • Natural Family Planning - Brochures are at the church front entrance from the Couple to Couple League.  Local information is available from the Family Life Office (800) 854-0003.

  • Parish Lending Library - The Saint Agnes Parish Lending Library is available to all parishioners after Mass on Sunday and during the week between 8:30AM and 3:30PM.  Enter at the Religious Education Office in the Pastoral Center.  You may borrow as many books as you like with no time limit!  We have a wonderful selection of adult fiction, nonfiction, biography and Christian themes.  We also have children's books on all reading levels.  Videos must be returned after one week.  Donated books and videos are appreciated!

  • Parking Policy - The Church entrance from Main Street, between the Church and Pastoral Center is designated as "one way" coming off Main Street.  During school hours no parking will be allowed in this corridor.  On Sunday morning parking will only be allowed on the Church side of that drive with no parking allowed on the Pastoral Center side of the driveway.  The parking lot can be exited from either Carson Avenue or View Street.  Thank you for your understanding as we try to make a safer zone for our school and religious education students.

  • Prayer Intention / Remembrance Book - An Intention Book is available in the front left corner of both St. Agnes and St. Patrick's for parishioners and guests to enter their Prayer Requests and Intentions.  A prayer intention will be offered at each Mass for these needs.  When you pray please remember those suffering physical, emotional and / or spiritual hardship in your prayers.  We also ask that you pray for Vocations, Military Service Members and their families.  Thank you!  If you need help, please call Fr. Chris at (413) 684-0125.  God Bless! Prayer Opportunity - Join us for prayer in the Chapel at the Pastoral Center.  Holy hour with Adoration every Friday afternoon 2-4pm.  Rosary with Adoration is every Sunday evening at 7:00 P.M. All are welcome!

  • Pre-Cana Conference - Diocesan guidelines require a one-year preparation period, which includes a Pre-Cana course among other helps.  Contact Fr. Chris before scheduling anything else as soon as you are engaged.  Sign up early, they fill up fast.  Option of "Engaged Encounter Weekends" is also available at http://www.engagedencounter.org.

  • Pregnancy Support Services - is in need of cribs, bassinets, playpens, strollers and swings.  Occasional AM office volunteers are also needed.  Call 443-7351.

  • Stewardship - A way of life, a way of thanking God for the divine blessings we have received by returning a portion of the time, talent and treasure allotted to us.

  • AT&T TECHCREDITS - Any AT&T residential long distance customer can direct TECHCREDITS to St. Agnes School by calling (800) 354-8800 and give our I.D. number 00602297.

  • Boxtops for Education - Save boxtops from General Mills cereals and turn them in to benefit St. Agnes School.  Drop off at the Church entrance.

  • Kodak, Hefty and Hershey - Again we have the power to enhance our resources without straining our budget.  Collect and save Universal Product Codes (UPC's) from the products of these three companies.  Drop off the UPC labels at the Church entrance.

  • Onecause.com - If you shop online or would like to start, please consider signing up with OneCause.com, a tuition-crediting program where participants can make purchases from over 360 merchants with a percentage of the total purchase going into an account for the student of your choice (or into a general school account) which will be sent to St. Agnes as a credit towards the student's tuition.  There are no sign-up fees or gimmicks.  It's just an easy way to shop and save!   • Recycle Inkjet Cartridges - This PTO fund-raising program puts your empty printer cartridges to good use!  Just save old cartridges and bring them to St. Agnes and our school will receive a cash rebate.  It's an easy way to help!

  • Adoption Resource Center at Brightside - Free orientation for individuals and families wanting to adopt -- United States, Russia, China and Ukraine Programs.

  • Adult Family Care / By Elder Services - Do you have a spare room and interested in caring for an older person?  No special skills or training needed.  Likewise, do you know an elder who could benefit by this program?  For either, call (413) 499-0524.

  • AIDS Support Services and Counseling - Our diocesan OFFICE OF SOCIAL CONCERNS has added Brother Frank Grimaldi, OFM Conv. as Director of HIV/AIDS support services.  For more information call (800) 854-0003.

  • BMC Confidentiality Policy - Due to confidentiality issues, BMC  is no longer permitted to send to pastors a list of parishioners who are patients.  Therefore, families need to inform the church when someone is admitted.

  • Elder Services Needs Volunteers/Shopping - Help elders remain independent, be a volunteer.  Call (413) 499-0524.

  • Food for the Needy - The "St. Agnes Food Pantry" is open from 6-6:30 P.M. at the Pastoral Center every Thursday for anyone needing food.  Baskets are at the church entrances into which you may place non-perishable items.

  • Fuel Assistance - Area residents should apply at the Dalton Community Center Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 AM to 12 Noon until October 30th.  Appointments are encouraged, walk-ins welcome.  Hilltown residents by appointment only with Hilltown Outreach Worker.  Maximum gross annual income guidelines are $17,720 for single and $23,880 for a couple.  For more information call (413) 684-2000

  • Healing homes at Berkshire Center for Families and Children is seeking at-home parents who might be interested in becoming therapeutic foster parents.  Healing Homes places one child per home and offers a $350 per week tax-free stipend.  Those interested should have care and compassion for children, a spare bedroom and a willingness to view parenting as a full time occupation.  For more information please contact Tom Bordon at (413) 448-8281 ext. 33.

  • Hearing Challenged? - St. Agnes Church has a system for those hearing impaired hooked up to our PA System.  Check with Deacon Pat before or after mass.

  • Once Catholic - There is a website for inactive Catholics, www.oncecatholic.org aimed at conversation and education which may help reconnect individuals with the church.

  • Rainbows for Children - A support group for children N-8 who have suffered the loss of a close relative through death, divorce or separation.  Contact Deacon Pat at (413) 684-1120 for more information.

  • RP, Macular Degeneration Support Group - Meets First Sunday of each month, 2-4 PM at the St. Agnes Library. For more information, call (413) 694-1464.

  • Senior Pharmacy Program - Helping seniors meet the high cost of prescription medicine.  Call (800) 953-3305 or TTY (800) 813-7787.  If you are 65 or older and find it hard to pay for prescription drugs, you may be eligible to receive up to $750 a year through the Massachusetts Senior Pharmacy Program.  For more information on how to apply, call the above toll free numbers.

  • The Providence Care Center of Lenox Open - Formally Valley View.  Newly renovated, now owned and run by Sisters of Providence.  Call for a tour (413) 637-2660.

  • Victim Support Outreach Coordinator - The Diocese of Springfield has announced a new position of Victim Support Outreach Coordinator.  Jane Riley of Springfield will be working in this position and will assist the victims of September 11th.  This includes anyone who feels he or she is having a difficult time coping with the aftermath of 9/11.  Please contact Jane at the Office of Social Concern, 65 Eliot Street, Springfield, MA  01101, (413) 732-4546 or j.riley@diospringfield.org.

  • Volunteer Help Needed - Need individuals with a concern for the unborn, willing to spend part of one morning a week (Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) helping at the Pregnancy Support Services office.  Even occasional help would be appreciated.  Please call (413) 443-7351 for more information.

  • Volunteers for Widowed Persons Services - Those widowed 18 months or more could be outreach volunteers for this new program for our county, training provided.  For more information call Sue Jacobs at (413) 684-2000.

  • Widows and Widowers One-on-One Support - A recently formed program provides support for those whose spouse has advanced to the next life.  One of our own parishioners has been trained and acts in matching persons.  For more information or to give a name, call Carol Morrison (413) 684-2282.

  • Women, Infants and Children Nutrition - WIC - Are you pregnant?  Nursing a baby?  Have a child under 5?  You might be eligible for free healthy foods and nutrition information even if you work.  (800) 942-1007 or (413) 443-4866
